1. Choose the Discounted Zipit Family Ticket

What better way to enjoy a family day out than with a discount?! At Zipit, we make sure the whole family can join in the fun with our special ticket prices, saving you up to 27% on cost! We offer discounted Family Tickets for groups of 4 to 6 people, as long as at least one adult is actively participating (and up to a maximum of two). This makes it the perfect option for parents looking to join in on the fun with their kids!

When booking, keep in mind the following:

  • If your group arrives without a participating adult, extra charges will apply.
  • All participants under 18 must be actively supervised by an adult (aged 18+) at all times.
  • For insurance purposes, everyone must be booked under their correct age category.

At our Tibradden Wood Zipit Adventure Park in Dublin, we also offer a special Family Combo Ticket which includes our epic Zip Trail at half price! While double the fun, the same rules as above apply.

When booking your tickets, make sure to do so in advance! Our Zipit courses can get booked up quickly, especially during weekends and holidays. To secure your spot — and to take advantage of our excellent Family Discounts — book online for any of our courses.

2. Understand Age Restrictions and Zipit Course Access

At Zipit, safety is just as important as fun. Anyone from ages 7 and up can enjoy our courses, with challenges suited to different ages and skill levels. We have a number of Circuits that range in difficulty, which participants can access based on their age.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Ages 7-8: Younger children can access our Green Circuit, where platforms reach just 1 metre high. While they can repeat the circuit, they can’t advance to the next circuit for their safety, as much as they may want to!
  • Ages 9-11: Kids in this age group can access our Green, Orange, and White Circuits, which can reach up to 10 metres high for some more challenging fun.
  • Ages 12-14: Older children can access our Green, Orange, White, and Blue Circuits, advancing to heights of up to 15 metres. Kids ages 12 and up can also access our Zip Trail in Tibradden Wood.
  • Ages 15+: Teenagers and adults can access all circuits, including our Red Circuit, which is our most difficult and adrenaline-pumping experience!

When booking online, you’ll find detailed information under each age ticket category. Knowing who can do what ahead of time helps avoid any disappointment on the day, and gives kids something to work toward as they grow! Read our page on Safety to learn more about how we ensure maximum fun with our high safety standards.

3. Arrive at Zipit Early and Bring a Picnic

Aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. This gives you enough time to check in and gear up before going through the safety briefing. Late arrivals can delay your start or even cut your session short — so don’t risk it!

While we sell drinks and snacks at our cabins on-site, you’re welcome to bring your own food or a packed lunch. After climbing, zip-lining, and swinging, the whole family will have worked up an appetite! Many of our locations have picnic tables, so you can sit down and enjoy a well-deserved treat together.

Our Zipit courses challenge everyone to push their limits, find new confidence, and work as a team. Being in the treetops is also invigorating, as everyone gets back into their bodies to explore the outdoors.
