Farran Woods (also known as Farran Park) sits beside the National Rowing Centre, on the banks of Inniscarra Lake. The setting speaks for itself: open lakeside forest, tall mature trees, and enough space to feel genuinely removed from the everyday.
Ziplines, rope bridges, cargo nets, and balance beams across circuits ranging from 1 metre off the ground to 15 metres up in the canopy. Up to three hours to work through as many circuits as you can manage.
Five circuits, colour-coded by difficulty: Green starts at just 1 metre off the ground, working up progressively through orange and white for those building their confidence. Blue and red are the full experience: 15 metres above the forest floor, with ziplines that cross the clearings.
Minimum age: 7 years old. No upper age limit.
Session length: Up to 3 hours from safety briefing to finish.
On site: Picnic benches, drinks and snacks available from the cabin, and toilets on site. Farran Woods also has walking trails through the surrounding forest, and the area is well known for deer spotting if you’d like to make a full day of it.
