Enjoy the Walking and Cycling Trails at Lough Key
The Lough Key Forest and Activity Park is home to numerous trails where you can explore the park’s historical features, including 19th-century parkland with majestic trees, follies, and canals.
Multiple cycle trails and walkways are available, suitable for biking with kids. With approximately eight km of scenic route for walking or cycling through the Boyle Marina, you can explore Lough Key at your own pace.

Embark on a Quest at Boda Borg
Everyone loves challenges. And this one’s unique! If you are looking to do something different, Boda Borg offers 15 quests and 47 challenges! Visitors of all ages will love this multi-dimensional questing experience!

If you want to take your quest outside, the Lough Key Treasure Trail takes you on a thrilling chase through the forest. Designed for kids between five and 12, adults can help guide children along their journey, where they’ll have solve clues and use teamwork. Your group will be given a pack as part of the adventure, which contains a special prize once you’ve completed the treasure hunt!
Sail the Waters of Lough Key
In the middle of the forest park is the beautiful Lough Key, where you can go kayaking and boating. Sail past the green trees and between islands, where you’ll come across historic landmarks like McDermott Island. Whether you join a guided boat tour or take reigns with paddling, Lough Key offers the perfect setting for some family fun.
