Frequently Asked Questions

What dates are you open?

We are open every weekend from February – November and our midweek opening hours vary, where we’re usually open on during school and public holidays.

The easiest way to see our public opening hours is to click Book Now and select your desired date.

If you are booking a private group i.e. a School Tour or Corporate/Club Group, we can cater to your group outside of our public opening hours. Please email your enquiry to [email protected] and our Customer Care team will be in touch.

Is Zipit for children or adults?

It’s for both – our progressive circuits are both fun and challenging to participants of most ages and capabilities.

High Ropes Courses: Caters to everyone aged 7+.

Junior Ropes Course (Zipit Djouce Park):  Caters to 3 – 6 year olds.

Zipit is very popular for birthday parties, corporate team building, school tours and hens & stags.

Do participants under 18 need supervision?

All participants under 18 must be supervised by an adult (18+) – who can participate in all courses (apart from our Junior Ropes Course in Zipit Djouce Park) or do so from the ground. Supervisors must also attend and listen to the safety briefing.

Adults supervising more than one child must keep all children within their view at all times or risk unsupervised participants from being removed from the course.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary based on course and participants’ age and you can save if you pre-book online.

We also offer discounted pricing for Families, Students and Groups. See our prices here.

Do I need to pre-book tickets?

To guarantee a space on your desired date, especially during school and public holidays, we recommend pre-booking online.

A €3 fee applies to walk-up bookings, so you can save when you pre-book online.

Are there any weather restrictions?

Despite Ireland’s unpredictable forecast, our course stays open in most weather, and the trees offer great cover from the wind and rain. Only extreme weather or red warnings will stop the adventure.

Can we reschedule or cancel our booking?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any cancellations but we can offer rescheduling up to 48 hours in advance of your booking. Please read our Cancellation Policy for more details.

Do I need to do anything before my booking?

Gloves are mandatory—you can add them to your online booking, buy on-site or bring your own. Please tie up long hair, cover piercings/midriffs, and apply sunscreen or Deet-free insect repellent before arrival.
